As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to a young client with complex needs, including gastronomy care, seizure management, and administration of oxygen.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the client's condition closely throughout the night, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Administer medication via peg feed, manage seizures, and provide oxygen as required.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Work collaboratively with the client's family and healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare involving peg feeding, suctioning, and administering medication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Enhanced DBS check.
