About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. Your key responsibilities will include supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve supporting the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication management, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. You'll work closely with your colleagues to create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of our residents.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. Additionally, you should have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualised care and support to each resident. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, allowing you to progress into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.

Salary and Benefits
