Job Summary

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students, working closely with the class teacher and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing Support Programs: Assist in the development of suitable programs of support for students requiring learning support, working closely with the class teacher and other professionals.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Classroom Assistance: Assist the class teacher in the delivery of lessons, providing additional support to students as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and learning support.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting, an asset.
