Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time General Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Preston. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support individual students or small groups with their learning and development, helping to bridge any gaps in their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning space for all students.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work afternoons from 12:30 PM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Desire to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff, promoting a team-based approach to education.
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support for our team members.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in education and child development, with a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of our young learners.
