Maternity Care Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maternity Care Specialist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Perinatal Mental Health Midwife Lead, you will play a key role in supporting women with complex social needs and providing high-quality care in the maternity department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert midwifery care to women with perinatal mental health issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
- Teach and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment outcomes
Requirements:
- Registered midwife with a degree in midwifery
- Completed a 12-month preceptorship programme
- Up-to-date knowledge of professional midwifery issues
- Experience of teaching and mentoring more junior staff members
- Strong IT skills, familiar with MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Salary:
£55,247 - £69,932 per annum (inclusive of honorary contract supplement)
