About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit clients in their homes and provide support according to their care plan and wishes.
  • Foster companionship and provide emotional support to clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing.
  • Support with daily tasks such as making meals and keeping the home clean and tidy.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as getting dressed, for those who require your assistance.
  • Take clients out to places of their choice, such as local shops or a cafe.

Requirements

  • No experience is required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience is an advantage.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent, dependable service.
  • You must have a caring and friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
  • You must have a valid driving licence and have your own dependable transport.
  • UK residency is essential, and we cannot provide working visas.
  • You must have good working flexibility, including alternate weekends.
