About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing and independence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Support clients with their medication and mobility needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, providing a sense of trust and reliability.

Requirements

  • No experience is required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, previous care experience is an advantage.
  • You must be reliable, punctual, and have a caring and friendly disposition.
  • A valid driving license and own transport are essential for this role.
  • UK residency is required, and we cannot provide working visas.
  • Flexibility, including alternate weekends, is necessary to meet the needs of our clients.
