Senior Mental Health Specialist Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Mental Health Specialist Lead to join our team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to take on a key leadership role in our Woking Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS).
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visible clinical leadership to the team, deputising for the Service Manager, and working closely with other Senior Clinical Staff to ensure the assessment of people using our service and the delivery of high-quality treatment within evidence-based Care Pathways.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of commitment, motivation, and knowledge of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in Mental Health, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the team and deputise for the Service Manager as required.
- Work closely with other Senior Clinical Staff to ensure the assessment of people using our service and the delivery of high-quality treatment within evidence-based Care Pathways.
- Ensure that clinicians within your care area maintain a sensible workload, which can be safely met within the time available, through supervision.
- Report all complaints and/or incidents relating to patients, relatives, and/or staff as directed in accordance with the Trust's Complaints Procedure.
- Actively contribute to the development and review of Policies and Procedures based upon best practice/evidence to aid the development and efficient functioning of the CMHRS.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Mental Health.
- Experience working in either primary or secondary community mental health care.
- 2 years' experience in a Clinical Leadership role (Band 6 or higher).
- A full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
