**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled International Development Auditor to join our team at Accounting for International Development. As an Overseas Grant Auditor, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of international development projects, traveling globally and making a real difference in the lives of people around the world.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare tailored plans for assignments based on a good understanding of the terms of reference and contractual conditions
* Lead opening meetings with clients and auditees, presenting audit findings clearly and credibly at closing meetings
* Lead assignment fieldwork teams, including locally based staff, on overseas assignments, or work alone
* Identify issues and areas of non-compliance on an assignment, writing them up as findings in a detailed, precise, and clear way in the assignment report
* Work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively
* Be prepared to be out of the office on international assignments for up to 40% of the time

**Requirements**

* A genuine interest in International Development and making a difference
* A love of international travel, preferably with experience of working or volunteering internationally
* A second language, especially French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Portuguese
* A professional accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Ability to communicate in a professional, constructive, and respectful manner
* Proven track record in audit work, ideally cross-border, not-for-profit, public sector, or grant-related audit
