Senior Internal Auditor Opportunity

Hanami International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Deliver the Internal Audit Plan: Collaborate with the Group Head of Audit to design and implement an effective internal audit plan that meets the needs of the organization.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  3. Lead Audit Teams and Manage Auditors: Lead audit teams and manage the activities of auditors to ensure the successful completion of audits.
  4. Present Findings and Recommendations: Present findings and recommendations to senior management and agree on actions to be taken.
  5. Share Best Practices and Learnings: Share best practices and learnings with fellow auditors and across the business.
  6. Follow Up on Outstanding Issues: Follow up on outstanding internal audit issues to ensure their resolution.
  7. Represent the Team and Maintain a Good Reputation: Represent the Internal Audit team and maintain a good reputation within the business.
  8. Champion Good Governance and Risk Management: Champion good governance and risk management practices across the organization.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK, with some travel globally (circa 25%). We are looking for a qualified accountant with a background in audit/advisory/controls from a Big 4/Top 10, a commercial business, or a mix of the two.
