Cygnet Health Care is committed to delivering exceptional care and rehabilitation services for individuals with complex mental health needs. As a Neuro/Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Brunel, making a positive difference in the lives of our service users.
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate HCPC registered Psychologist with experience in clinical forensic or mental health settings. Your expertise in Neuropsychology and ability to treat difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug & alcohol problems will be invaluable assets to our team.
The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week across 5 days, collaborating with the MDT to develop care plans, providing training and supervision, and evaluating the service to contribute to its development and carry out clinical research. This is a full-time position offering strong career progression opportunities into management roles, monthly reflective practice, support with CPD opportunities, expert clinical supervision and peer support.
Based on national averages and industry standards, the estimated salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Job Responsibilities- Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Carry out psychological assessments and provide therapy to individuals and groups
- Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT
- Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
- Evaluate the service, contribute to its development, and carry out clinical research
- A HCPC registered Neuro/Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
- Experience within Neuropsychology
- Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT
- Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
