We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Brighton and Hove Clinic, a specialist inpatient eating disorder unit for children and adolescents. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and contributing to the development of the service.
Main Responsibilities- Providing specialist psychological assessments and individualised evidence-based psychological interventions for patients with severe eating disorders and complex mental health difficulties.
- Working within a multidisciplinary team, managing a complex caseload, facilitating group psychological interventions, and supporting staff development through training and reflective practice.
- Contributing to the development of the service, including the design and delivery of training and staff development programs.
- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent if trained overseas).
- Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
- Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders and related comorbidities, including anxiety, trauma, depression, and self-harm.
- Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable, but not essential. Experience working with patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurodivergence, trauma, and personality disorders is also desirable.
- Annual salary of up to £55,000.
