Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our psychology services and develop our psychosocial interventions offer to support individuals experiencing difficulties associated with drug and alcohol use.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology and experience of working at a Band C (NHS) equivalent level to provide regional leadership of services and people.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based interventions, working closely with colleagues to ensure the excellent delivery of recommended specialised interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support individuals experiencing difficulties associated with drug and alcohol use.
  • Provide regional leadership of services and people, working closely with colleagues to ensure the excellent delivery of recommended specialised interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement psychosocial interventions.
  • Contribute to the development of our psychology services and psychosocial interventions offer.

Requirements:

  • Registered Psychologist with a strong background in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology.
  • Experience of working at a Band C (NHS) equivalent level to provide regional leadership of services and people.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
