SEN Teaching Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join Opogo's team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Year 5 pupils with SEN and SEMH needs in a mainstream classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt and differentiate lessons, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and promote inclusion and a positive learning environment.
">Key Skills:- Experience working with children with SEN or SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting
- Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of strategies to support children with SEN and SEMH
