Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity: Year 3 SEN Support Professional - Haringey Location

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Haringey. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual support for children with Autism within a Year 3 class, creating a nurturing environment that enables these children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This rewarding role requires experience in phonics, supporting pupils in developing their literacy skills, and collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual support for children with Autism within a Year 3 class.
  • Support pupils in developing their literacy skills through phonics expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience supporting children with Autism or additional needs in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of phonics and its application in primary education.
  • Patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.

Location: Lovely Primary School, Tottenham, Haringey.
Estimated Salary: £90-£95 per day.
