Job Title: Project QS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project QS Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing cost management expertise to our clients across various sectors, including Defence, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a security-cleared Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our busy and expanding London office. You will work closely with our clients to deliver projects and programmes, providing cost advice and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

As a Project QS Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale developments to large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing costs, preparing tender documents, and providing cost advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cost management expertise to clients across various sectors
  • Work closely with clients to deliver projects and programmes
  • Manage costs, prepare tender documents, and provide cost advice
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements
  • Security cleared
  • Degree qualified and MRICS qualified (or working towards)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Inquisitive and problem-solving skill base
  • NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C
  • Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience preferably in a similar role
