Quantity Surveyor Job Description

Crescent Specialist Recruitment (CSR) is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a specialist interior and refurbishment contractor, we deliver high-end luxury projects and require a professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial management, documentation, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage commercial aspects of projects, including preparing documentation for subcontractors and reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating subcontract packages.
  2. Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and subcontractors, ensuring successful project delivery.
  3. Collaborate with the project team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  4. Provide cost control reporting and risk management to ensure project profitability.
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years' post-qualification experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  2. Fitout experience as part of a commercial team on large projects (£15m+) is preferred.
  3. Commercial and contractual awareness is essential.
  4. Awareness and delivery of Site QS requirements, including measuring, administration, and communication with subcontractors.
