Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. This role involves providing technical support for customers and internal program teams, focusing on product manufacturing and process integrity, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Drive improvement using Best in Class and World Class Manufacturing principles.
  2. Participate in team activities with Integrated Program Teams, Engineering, and other project teams.
  3. Identify and address issues proactively using manufacturing data.
  4. Apply Systemic Root Cause and Corrective Action methodologies.
  5. Escalate quality or performance issues as necessary.
  6. ID skills training or development requirements and escalate through management.
  7. Attend regular Manufacturing Engineering sub-team meetings.
  8. Maintain and report Manufacturing Engineering metrics, track performance against Team KPI and Individual Goals & Objectives.
  9. Optimize processes by responding to metrics.
  10. Support the Program Cells and the rest of the Engineering community when required.
  11. Assist Engineering Management as needed.
  12. Contribute to DFM and manufacturability analyses and reporting when required.

Candidate Requirements
  1. HND in Manufacturing / Production Engineering or related field.
  2. High-performing Engineer with self-starter capabilities.
  3. Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes across various technologies and production platforms.
  4. Analytical engineer proficient in processing data to provide solutions and communicate outcomes at all levels.
  5. Experience contributing to specific improvements in Production Programs' effectiveness, efficiency, and optimization.
  6. Familiarity with Equipment/Machine SPC to identify potential issues and prevent them.
  7. Ability to lead/participate in process FMEA, Control Plan, Process flow development, review, and risk mitigation processes.
  8. Exposure to various manufacturing platforms.
  9. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Salary and Benefits
