Maintenance Engineer

Futures recruitment is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join a manufacturing business in West Yorkshire. As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the facilities, including minor electrical, mechanical, and joinery repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening and closing the site, managing contractors, and handling any reactive tasks throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises, vehicles, and contents.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all lighting and heating systems and equipment are functioning.
- Report any Health and Safety hazards or maintenance/minor works to the Line Manager.
- Hold a full driving licence.
- Have experience within facilities management or a manufacturing environment.
