Fleet Engineering Manager Opportunity

Location: East of Scotland

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Engineering Manager to join our team at Stagecoach East Scotland. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering effective engineering support, driving safety, reliability, and presentation of the fleet while meeting all statutory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality fleet maintenance and engineering support.
  • Lead a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and procedures, maximising opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior engineering and local management teams to further develop the business within budgetary guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Excellent track record of high-quality fleet maintenance.
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and employment legislation.
  • Innovative, customer-focused, and commercially astute outlook.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
