Programme Engineering Manager

Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence supplier, is seeking a Programme Engineering Manager to join their team on a contract basis at their site in Glenrothes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage engineering work packages, utilising expertise in leading product development programmes to drive risk management and programme progression.
  • Develop and implement visual management techniques to track and drive the daily and weekly execution rhythm of the programme.
  • Manage risk and change for all engineering deliverables, ensuring effective monitoring and mitigation.
  • Motivate and coach engineering team members to success, promoting technical expectations for execution, accountability, and discipline.
  • Lead and manage mission-critical electronic product design, qualification, and certification programmes to exacting customer and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong engineering leadership experience, delivering through others in a matrix organisation.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving and a track record of success in a similar role.
