Transport Service Coordinator

As a Transport Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Home to School Transport Service. This role involves working in a hybrid environment, with a requirement to be in the office for at least two days per week.
About the role:The Transport Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of the Home to School Transport Service through a range of providers, ensuring the maintenance of accurate records of provision and contracts.
Key responsibilities:- Collaborate with providers, colleagues and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that ensure a high-quality and safe transport service for vulnerable children and SEND children and adults.
- Monitor performance against budgets to ensure effective monthly forecasting, preparing and reporting on performance and costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality of transport provision and deliver budget savings, including invest to save initiatives.
We anticipate the salary for this position to be around £45,000 - £65,000 per year, based on industry standards.
