Job Title: Credit Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to join our team at Portfolio Credit Control. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial credit control ledger, overseeing the credit control team, and ensuring the implementation of our credit policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the downloading and actioning of the weekly debtor's report into Excel
  • Manage the commercial credit control ledger and ensure accurate data
  • Oversee the credit control team and all output
  • Contact clients to confirm payment of invoices via telephone and email
  • Ensure the implementation of credit policy
  • Utilise finance packages to ensure the accuracy of data
  • Provide analysis and KPIs regarding debtors and report on invoices paid
  • Work closely and effectively with the Sales Ledger team
  • Set follow-up dates for the diary to review the account, as necessary

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in credit control management
  • Advanced IT skills, Microsoft 365 and expert Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Democratic management style
