Support Worker - Autism Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a well-established SEN school in West London. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and guidance to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with ASD, fostering a safe and supportive environment conducive to learning.
  • Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support student's academic and social development.
  • Assist students with their daily routines and personal care needs, ensuring their well-being and dignity are maintained.
  • Promote independence and social interaction among students, fostering positive relationships and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to facilitate a tailored curriculum that meets the individual needs of each student.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the educational team and parents/guardians.
