Job Overview

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic services to children, working closely with paediatricians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals. As a Child Health Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in paediatric anaesthesia, while also contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services to children, including pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia, and post-operative care.
  • Work closely with paediatricians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully registered with the GMC as a medical practitioner.
  • FRCA or equivalent qualification in anaesthetics.
  • Advanced training in paediatric anaesthesia or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients.
