Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist to join their team in Norwich. This permanent role offers a salary up to £32,020 per annum and requires the successful candidate to deliver residential childcare with specialist knowledge for interventions, needs assessments, and care planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop effective relationships with children, young people, and families while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Deliver high-quality assessments and implement child-centered and multi-agency interventions to bring about positive change.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share social work knowledge, theory, and practice.
- Strengthen relationships between residents and their families by completing outreach tasks when possible.
- Meet 'Safe care' standards and maximize opportunities for development.
- Ensure young people's views and wishes are sought and acted upon, and undertake a keyworker role when required.
- Social Work degree or equivalent.
- Social Work England Registration.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
