About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Oviva AG, a leading digital health provider. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in our weight management service, working with patients to achieve their health goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver One-to-One Patient Care: Provide remote weight management care to patients via phone or video calls, using our innovative Oviva app to support changes in eating and activity behaviors.
  • Assess and Screen Patients: Conduct initial screenings to assess risk of Binge Eating Disorder and discuss with our multidisciplinary team (MDT) as needed.
  • Collaborate with MDT: Work closely with dietitians, nurses, and fellow psychology team members to provide specialized advice and support to patients.
  • Manage Clinical Risk: Appropriately manage clinical risk, including safeguarding concerns, while working autonomously and having recourse to other professionals for guidance.
  • Continuing Professional Development: Maintain adequate CPD, receive regular clinical supervision, and meet BPS registration requirements.
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection: Ensure confidentiality of information and protect participant confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in weight management and/or bariatric care within a mental health setting or working with patients with long-term health conditions.
  • Skills: Ability to provide supportive, empathetic patient-centered care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs.
  • Technology Skills: Experience in providing care remotely and using technology to support therapeutic goals.
