About the Role

Oviva AG is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in digital health. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in our weight management service, working closely with our psychology and dietetics teams to provide comprehensive care to individuals struggling with obesity and related health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering One-to-One Patient Care: Provide remote weight management care to patients via phone or video calls, leveraging our innovative Oviva app to support changes in eating and activity behaviors.
  • Assessing Patients for Therapy: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the suitability of patients for psychological therapy as part of our weight management service.
  • Collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with dietitians, nurses, and fellow psychology team members to provide specialized advice and support to patients.
  • Supporting Complex Cases: Provide guidance and support to patients with complex cases, as well as offer ad-hoc training to the team as needed.
  • Managing Clinical Risk: Appropriately manage clinical risk, including safeguarding concerns, and ensure the confidentiality of patient information in line with data protection regulations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a minimum of 1 year of experience in weight management and/or bariatric experience within a mental health setting.
  • Skills: Ability to provide supportive, empathetic patient-centered care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs, as well as experience in working with patients who have long-term health conditions.
  • Experience: Experience in working in an MDT, offering physical activity support, and providing care remotely using technology to assist with therapeutic goals.
