As a Bakery Production Assistant, you will be responsible for producing our award-winning products to the highest standards of quality, food safety, output, hygiene, and health & safety.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a 4th generation family business that has been perfecting the art of baking for 151 years. Our bakery uses traditional baking methods and sources the finest local ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working safely at all times in accordance with our policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Storing, weighing, feeding, mixing/blending, filling, tinning, and baking food products.
  • Packing and inspecting products to ensure legal compliance.
  • Carrying out cleaning duties in the Bakery and packaging area ensuring a high standard of hygiene/sanitation.
  • Operating in multiple production departments within the Bakery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Bakery environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Shift working is requisite for this role.
  • The successful candidate must be flexible in accommodating a ‘work to finish’ process.
  • It’s a legal requirement for Nightshift workers to be at least 18.

Salary and Benefits:
