Support Worker - Young People

At Supply Staff Limited, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who require care and guidance in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support young people in their educational and personal development.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working with Looked After Children of secondary school age.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Ability to provide professional references covering a minimum of 3 years.
