Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our Import and Export teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in orchestrating the movement of goods, ensuring they reach their destinations safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure freight is moved on time with all necessary documentation
  • Verify and process freight invoices and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with overseas agents and clients to resolve issues and complaints
  • Arrange haulage with shipping lines and hauliers
  • Utilize customer ERP and SAP systems to manage freight operations
  • Take ownership of training and development to continuously improve and develop skills

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in freight forwarding
  • Strong numerical and commercial skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of commercial impact
  • Proficient in computer and operating system skills, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated
