SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

beBee Professionals in Craigavon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support our inclusive learning programs. This role involves working closely with SEN students to facilitate their educational and personal growth in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist SEN students in classroom activities under the direction of the lead teacher, ensuring they receive personalized attention and guidance.
  • Implement individualized education plans, regularly monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure students meet their goals.
  • Provide emotional support to students with special needs, helping them build confidence and self-esteem in a nurturing environment.
Requirements:
  • An associate's degree in Special Education or a relevant certification, demonstrating expertise in supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Previous experience working with children with special needs, showcasing ability to adapt to unique challenges and circumstances.
  • A strong understanding of the complexities faced by SEN students, enabling effective communication and collaboration with educators and families.
Compensation Package:
  • A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
