Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic and supportive team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of the department. The post is offered as 10 programmed activities (PAs) over five days, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements. The department prioritizes work-life balance and offers a supportive environment for clinical and academic development.

Key Requirements
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC registration with license to practice
  • Medical Degree
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via: CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 12 months of interview) or CESR
