Huntress Search Ltd - IT Recruitment is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of IT Field Operations Manager. This position involves overseeing a team of engineers, managing projects, and ensuring top-notch technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and train a team of field and remote engineers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement robust processes for performance management, training, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with direct reports, providing actionable feedback and setting clear goals.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Manage critical infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and advanced networking solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and other regulatory standards.
  • Oversee significant IT projects, such as infrastructure upgrades and system migrations.
  • Perform site surveys and pre-sales consultations with clients.
  • Address documentation gaps to ensure all processes and systems are thoroughly documented.
  • Nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor for technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in IT, including leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams and achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and networking (Cisco, Fortinet).
  • Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, VMware, and advanced imaging solutions.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with experience creating and enforcing structured processes.
  • Tertiary IT qualification or industry certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP).
  • Valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Must reside within 60 minutes of Richmond.

Estimated Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum.
