About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Catering Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Catering Assistant, you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experience and help us create a welcoming environment for our clients and customers.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, creating attractive food displays, and representing Chartwells in a professional manner. You will also handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a safety-first mindset and adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience within a similar catering-related role (although not essential)
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of approximately £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (£9.00 - £10.25 per hour based on 20 hours per week)
