Job Title: Senior Audiologist - Adult Services

We are seeking an experienced Senior Audiologist to join our team in providing comprehensive adult audiology services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, speech testing, and rehabilitation to adults with hearing impairments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct hearing management of the adult population, including diagnostic assessment, speech testing, and rehabilitation.
  • Lead and manage junior staff, conducting regular 1:1 meetings, clinical supervision, and appraisals.
  • Take an active role in clinical audit, research, and clinical governance of the Audiology service, designing and leading audits within the service and participating in data collections for larger projects.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the adult service for a specified area and site, to be determined.
  • Support department stock management and contribute to Health and Safety compliance for the Department.

Requirements:
  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualifications.
  • Registered with the RCCP, ACHS, or HCPC.
  • Substantial NHS experience, including experience of managing patients with additional needs/Dementia.
  • Experience of testing children's hearing and electrophysiology testing.
  • Experience of microsuction and leadership skills.
