Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer to work within the Raytheon Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) Engineering team. The role will provide support across Raytheon's range of APNT products, providing Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

The role will involve working in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously. Primary responsibilities include initial system analysis, design and develop architecture and data models, and taking on complex challenges and producing a solution that follows company process in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to certification
  • Experience with SysML or UML in a Systems Engineering environment
  • Experience with generation of technical documentation (internal and for customers)
  • Understanding of policies, practices and procedures, and the ability to communicate these to their team
  • Ability to work in a team and perform to project directives
  • Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management
  • Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar
  • Eligible or current holder of SC security clearance
