Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in York. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to patients with complex neurological conditions.

About the Role:

This is a 30-hour per week position with flexible days and times to be agreed. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical psychology input within the Active Care Group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and formulating patients' problem behaviours and treatment needs
  • Providing evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of difficulties
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
  • Directing and supporting others to carry out evidence-based clinical psychology interventions
  • Ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC Registration
  • BPS Registration
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
