We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in York. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a specialist Level 2 purpose-built neurorehabilitation facility, rated as GOOD by the Care Quality Commission.

The successful candidate will have a wide-ranging knowledge of specialist neuropsychological assessment and the treatment of adults presenting with complex, acquired neurological disorders. They will have extensive experience in delivering individual therapy, and helping non-psychology team members work with people who have experienced an acquired brain injury, coupled with good team and leadership skills.

The interdisciplinary team, led by a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, delivers high-quality and intensive neurological rehabilitation; behavioural management and complex disability assessments for adults. Patients benefit from access to our neuro-specialist team consisting of a Junior Doctor, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Technicians, specialist Nurses and Rehabilitation Assistants.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and have HCPC and BPS registration. We are committed to ensuring that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.

  • Provide evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of difficulties
