We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Credit Controller to manage all aspects of our sales ledger. The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.

About the Role:

This full-time position requires 37 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday. As a Credit Controller, you will oversee the collection of customer accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Relationship Management: Manage and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth running of sales ledger accounts.
  2. Debt Collection: Ensure prompt payment of customer debts through effective debt collection practices and prompt handling of queries.
  3. Credit Evaluation: Evaluate new and existing customer credit requests by assessing credit ratings and payment profiles.
  4. Sales Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile daily sales ledger transactions.
  5. Invoicing and Credit Notes: Perform daily sales invoice runs and monthly statement runs. Raise sales credit notes and manually raise pro-forma invoices, advance bills, or miscellaneous invoices.
  6. Query Resolution: Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices, liaising with sales and warehouse departments as needed.
  7. Posting and Allocation: Post and allocate daily receipts to accounting systems.
  8. Accounts Information: Provide accounts information to internal departments.
  9. Note Maintenance: Maintain detailed and accurate notes regarding debtors on our internal system and ensure the team leader is equipped with relevant data.
  10. Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by management and undertake account reconciliations as required.
