The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control and possess exceptional communication skills and a polished telephone manner. Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills is also required, along with demonstrable experience in a credit control environment interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account statuses.
  • Pursue outstanding debts through various channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Support Direct Debit procedures and ensure timely customer payments.
  • Adhere to in-house debt recovery procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Requirements for Success:

  • Exceptional communication skills and a polished telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in a credit control environment interacting with customers.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn software tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Sage, Vantage, and Credit Safe (training will be provided).

Working Details:

This role offers flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with free on-site parking. The location is conveniently situated off J13 of the M6 motorway, making it easily accessible by car.
