About the Job:

The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a full-time Financial Planning Specialist to support a valued Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial analysis and business management. Responsibilities include performing complex financial analysis, leading and providing support in various competencies, recommending cost-effective strategies, and resolving complex financial problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex financial analysis and consult with multiple levels of personnel.
  • Lead and provide support in financial and business management, budget and finance policy and operations, cost and economic analysis, strategic analysis, and applicable disciplines.
  • Recommend cost-effective strategies to meet program, project, and financial planning objectives.
  • Conduct financial transaction reconciliation and oversee submission of weekly financial status reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of accounting data within business and financial systems.
  • Maintain and reconcile logs and spreadsheets.
  • Draft and submit responses to financial action items on assigned programs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Resolve complex financial, accounting, and budget problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in finance.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
