Formulation Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Scientist to join our global team at Unilever, a leading fast-moving consumer goods company. As a key member of our hair format team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative hair products that meet consumer needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for formulation development and quality assessment to create high-quality hair products. This will involve working with various brands, such as Sunsilk, Tresemme, Dove, Nexxus, and Andrelon, to develop new products that are sustainable, cost-effective, and have superior performance.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and formulate hair products, including shampoos, conditioners, and leave-on creams.
- Perform quality checks and product performance measurements to ensure high-quality products.
- Prepare hair aerosol products by filling and crimping cans.
- Conduct product qualification and quality studies, including product stability, compatibility, corrosion, and blockage tests.
- Collate, analyze, and communicate data and insights to the team.
- Deliver written reports and oral communications within the team.
- Support the delivery of hair innovation projects by testing products, generating, and analyzing data, and reporting back to the team.
- BSc/MSc in a scientific discipline.
- Lab experience in quality control or formulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills with technical curiosity.
- State-of-the-art laboratory and pilot plant facilities.
