Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Formulation Scientist to join our global team at Unilever, a leading fast-moving consumer goods company. As a key member of our hair format team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative hair products that delight our consumers.

About the Role:

This is a full-time temporary position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be based at our client's scientific Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, easily accessible by train and car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate hair products, including shampoos, conditioners, leave-on creams, and aerosol formulations.
  • Conduct product quality check analysis and product performance measurements.
  • Prepare hair aerosol products by filling and crimping the cans.
  • Collate, analyze, and communicate data and insights.
  • Support the delivery of hair innovation projects by testing products, generating, and analyzing data, reporting back to the team.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a BSc/MSc in a scientific discipline and preferred lab experience in quality control or formulation. You will also have excellent communication and analytical skills.
