About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Diabetic Eye Screening team as a Diabetic Eye Screener. As a screener, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run local clinics for patients and photograph their eyes to assess for diabetic retinopathy
  • Provide empathetic and patient-centered care to individuals with diabetes
  • Work independently in a pressured environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Previous experience working with the public is desirable
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including grades A-C in English, Maths, and a Science subject or equivalent
  • A full driving licence and your own transport
