Aquatic Care Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Aquatic Care Specialist at Golders Hill Park Zoo in Northwest London. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the animal care team in ensuring the highest levels of animal welfare and husbandry are maintained across the zoo and Queen's Park Farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks, including food preparation and feeding, enrichment provision, training, cleaning and maintenance of enclosures.
- Work closely with the animal care team to ensure the health and well-being of animals is prioritized.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of animal care plans and protocols.
Requirements:
- A passion for animal welfare and conservation.
- Ability to work physically demanding roles with direct exposure to the weather.
- 35-hour week, Monday-Sunday working on a roster.
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
