Aquatic Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Aquatic Animal Care Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in ensuring high levels of animal welfare and husbandry are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily animal care tasks, including food preparation and feeding, enrichment provision, training, cleaning, and maintenance of enclosures.
- Work as part of the team with volunteers and work experience students to ensure the well-being of animals.
- Maintain accurate records of animal observations and provide detailed reports as required.
Requirements:
- 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays
- Living in England
- Not in full-time education at the time of applying
- Dedicated, reliable, motivated, and hard-working individual with a passion for animal welfare and conservation

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £18,000-£20,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a 35-hour working week and opportunities for professional development.
