We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional to join our team in Northampton. This exciting opportunity offers an estimated salary of £40,000-£43,652 per annum.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. This includes monitoring incidents, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing corrective actions.

You will work closely with management to develop and implement robust health and safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and provide training and guidance to employees.

Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Policy Development: Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and safety policies.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential hazards and conduct risk assessments to mitigate any risks.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Liaison with External Agencies: Engage with regulatory bodies such as HSE, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Nebosh Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in health and safety management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
