About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Modern Slavery Safehouse Advocate to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality frontline support to victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their recovery and reflection period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and needs assessments to identify clients' requirements and develop tailored support plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, promoting their independence and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective case management.
  • Ensure the health and safety of clients and staff within the accommodation setting.
  • Participate in regular case reviews and outcomes assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of support plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
