About the Opportunity

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our payroll and pensions operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Payroll and Pensions Specialist with experience of reviewing payroll and pension services.

About the Job

  • This role involves leading the review of our current payroll and pension services, making recommendations for improvements to ensure efficient processes are in place across both People and Finance teams.

  • You will develop potential system changes and coordinate the Steering Group made up of People and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing the current Payroll & Pensions service

  • Looking at potential Payroll arrangements

  • Making recommendations for improvements

  • Developing potential system changes

  • Establishing and coordinating the Steering Group

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., accounting, finance)

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in payroll management, preferably in a not-for-profit, charity, or public sector environment

  • Experience of working with HR and Finance systems (Oracle preferred)

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Salary Information

  • $52,000 per annum
